European Projects

The philosophy at the base of the European Charter has led some of the signatory companies to participate in two important EU projects, financed under the PROGRESS Programme, aimed at experimenting social initiatives in railway stations: Hope in Stations and Work in Stations.
Both projects have been piloted by the French ANSA – Agence Nouvelle de Solidarité Actives, in partnership with the Italian Social Cooperative Europe Consulting Onlus and different Belgian partners.
The railway companies have played a key role in the development of the projects: their endorsement of the actions, which have been implemented, their concrete involvement in the operational phase, as well as the consideration they enjoy in front of major stakeholders, have strongly contributed to the successful results the partnerships have together achieved.
